Индекс курсов акций
Показатель динамики средних цен акций компании на фондовой бирже. В Великобритании газета «Файнэншл Таймс» ежедневно печатает индексы курсов акций всех компаний, зарегистрированных на Лондонской фондовой бирже. Газета также сообщает о движении курсов акций 100, 250 и 350 основных компаний (соответственно FTSE-100, FTSE-250 и FTSE-350). В Америке публикуется два индекса - индекс Доу Джонса (Dow-Jones Index) и индекс внебиржевых котировок НАСДАК (Nasdaq Index), а в Японии - индекс Никкей (Nikkei Index). Индексы курсов акций отражают изменения величины прибыли компаний и уровня предпринимательской активности в корпоративном секторе экономики и являются барометром доверия инвесторов к отдельной отрасли и экономике в целом. 9 PRICE INDEX
Индекс цен
Показатель динамики среднего уровня цен на товары, услуги или финансовые активы. Индекс рассчитывается на основе средних цен стандартного набора товаров и услуг (так называемой «рыночной корзины») в текущем году и соотносится с ценой той же «корзины» в базисном году, который принимается за 100. Наиболее известным является индекс розничных цен (retail price index (RPI)). Для расчета индекса розничных цен в Великобритании, например, за базу берется 1987 год (средний уровень цен = 100). В сентябре 2004 г. индекс равнялся 188,1, что свидетельствует о росте средних рыночных цен на 88% по сравнению с 1987 г. Индекс розничных цен можно использовать для измерения уровня инфляции и как дефлятор ВНП (см. GNP deflator). Широко распространены и другие индексы - индекс оптовых цен, индекс курсов акций (см. Share price index), индекс условий торговли (см. Terms of trade). См. курс акций
Продажная цена одной акции или отклонение от номинальной стоимости акции в данный конкретный момент времени. Первоначально при выпуске акции формируется ее номинальный курс, который указывается на самой акции. В процессе купли-продажи выявляется рыночный К.а., или цена ее покупки (продажи) на рынке ценных бумаг (фондовых биржах, фондовых отделах товарных бирж, в инвестиционных компаниях, банках и другие организациях, имеющих лицензию на размещение ценных бумаг). Рыночный К.а. определяется конъюнктурными соображениями, складывающимся соотношением между ставкой дивиденда и банковского процента по долгосрочным ссудам, репутацией акционерного общества и результатами его финансово-хозяйственной деятельности. Иногда под К.а. понимают балансовую стоимость акции, определяемую как стоимость имущества акционерного общества в расчете на одну акцию.

Первоначально при выпуске акции формируется ее номинальный курс, который обычно указывается на самой акции. Рыночный же К.а. выявляется в процессе купли-продажи.
